Coming from a prestigious Violin Academy in Switzerland, we ensure a teaching of high standard in a motivating, and dynamic environment.

Gabriel Toaldo
With extensive international experience as an educator and violinist, Gabriel has worked and taught at multiple institutions across the United States, South America, and Europe. His background as both a performer and teacher offers an in-depth, high-standard approach to musical education.
He is the founder of the Toaldo Violin School in Tokyo, where he offers high-quality violin instruction based on proven pedagogical systems. His teaching is designed to help students develop strong technical foundations and achieve the ability to play cleanly, confidently, and effortlessly.
Whether working with beginners or aspiring professionals, his focus is on providing structured, efficient, and refined guidance that supports long-term musical development and artistic excellence.

Hirona Hosono Toaldo
Graduating from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music and the Kayaleh Violin Academy in Switzerland, Ms. Hosono has performed in multiple European locations, such as Geneva, Lausanne, Verona, and Luxemburg. Speaking Japanese, English and French, and with multiple years of teaching experience and school management, she has collaborated with many renowned artists, such as Robert Zimansky, Angel Stankov, and Viktor Pikaizen.

LESSONS
The Toaldo Violin School offers lessons to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to aspiring professionals (starting from 3 years old) in a wide variety of languages, including English, French, Spanish and Japanese. At our school, students will learn to:
・Develop their understanding of music and violin-playing.
・Nurture their musical and artistic potential.
・Acquire all the skills and techniques necessary to enjoy music-making.
In order to provide them with the best experience, our lessons are made to adapt to the potential of each student. We offer three courses:
・30-minute or 45-minute lessons: Ideal for beginners and young children under 10 years old
・60-minute lessons: Perfect for everyone, beginners and advanced students
・90-minute lessons: For advanced students and aspiring professionals.
Lessons are held at our school in Ogikubo. However, lesson at your home are also available (for fees, see below)

30 minutes - 11,000 yen / 45 minutes - 18,500 yen / 60 minutes - 25,700 yen
Course: 36 lessons/year (3 lessons/month)
30 minutes - 9,900 yen / 45 minutes - 16,500 yen / 60 minutes - 23,100 yen
Course: 24 lessons/year (2 lessons/month)
30 minutes - 9,000 yen / 45 minutes - 13,000 yen / 60 minutes - 17,000 yen
Course: 12 lessons/year (1 lesson/month)

The 24 Lessons and 12 Lessons per year courses include follow-up videos given by the teachers. Send us a short practice video via LINE or YouTube, and your teacher will give you advice and guide you to the next steps through additional video checkups. - Ticket System:
- The ticket system is only available to people over the age of 18. The tickets consist of 6 prepaid lessons that can be scheduled individually at any time.
30 minutes x6: 21,000 yen
45 minutes x6: 31,000 yen
60 minutes x6: 42,000 yen
The tickets have a validity period of 6 months. - Lessons at your home:
- Location: All 23 wards of Tokyo
Duration: 45-minute, 60-minute or 90-minute lessons
In addition to the lesson fee above, 2,500yen will be charged. - Rental Instrument:
- Violin Rental is available starting from JPY 2,000 per month.
- Trial Lessons:
- - Trial lessons can be held at our school in Ogikubo. Instruments provided if necessary.
JPY 3,000 (JPY 1,500 for children under 12 years old)
- Cancellation Policy and Lesson Replacements:
- Lessons may be rescheduled or replaced by contacting us at any point, except for unauthorized absences.
Additionally, the rescheduled lesson must take place within 30 days before or 30 days after the date of the original lesson, in a time slot that matches the teacher's availabilities.
Elementary School and above:
Cancelled more than 21 days in advance: No cancellation fee.
Cancelled 20 to 1 day in advance: Cancellation fee will be 50% the cost of the lesson.
Cancelled the same day: Cancellation fee will be 100% the cost of the lesson.
Unannounced absence: Cancellation fee will be 100% the cost of the lesson.
Preschool:
Cancelled more than 21 days in advance: No cancellation fee.
Cancelled 20 days in advance to same day: Cancellation fee will be 50% the cost of the lesson.
Unannounced absence: Cancellation fee will be 100% the cost of the lesson.
